McButters Book of Lists

[or not]

Top 5 Reasons I May Fail Tomorrow's Pathophysiology Exam:

  1. There's something called bacteria. And then there's something called a virus. Apparently, there's a difference between the two.
  2. I may have completely forgotten to read an entire chapter. Whoops.
  3. Still don't know what the word "pathophysiology" even means.
  4. 50 multiple choice questions in 55 minutes. Impossible. Butters don't churn like dat.
  5. The sequence of events leading to cell death is commonly decreased ATP production, failure of active-transport mechanisms (the sodium-potassium pump) cellular swelling, detachment of ribosomes from the endoplasmic reticulum, cessation of protein synthesis, mitochondrial swelling as a result of calcium accumulation, vacuolation, leakage of digestive enzymes from lysosomes, autodigestion of intracellular structures, and lysis of the plasma membrane. Or some Shit like that.

  1. @#3: Pathophysiology is the study of the changes of normal mechanical, physical, and biochemical functions, either caused by a disease, or resulting from an abnormal syndrome.
